MLA Tenginkai Predicts CM Siddaramaiah’s Resignation Before Padayatra Ends
Hubballi: MLA Mahesh Tenginkai has stated that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will resign from his position before the BJP-JDS padayatra, protesting the alleged scams by the Siddaramaiah-led government, reaches Mysuru.
The BJP and JDS have launched a joint padayatra from Bengaluru to Mysuru, demanding CM Siddaramaiah’s resignation due to his alleged involvement in the recent MUDA and Valmiki Corporation scams. The padayatra entered its third day on Monday.
Speaking to reporters, MLA Tenginkai predicted that CM Siddaramaiah would resign before the padayatra culminates. “The Congress has lost the moral grounds to govern. People are furious over the widespread corruption and the mismanagement of public funds by the government. Many, fed up with the government’s misrule, are joining the joint padayatra organized by the BJP and JDS,” he said.
On the fourth day of the padayatra, around 2,000 BJP workers from the Dharwad district are expected to participate. Mayor Ramappa Badiger, Veeranna Savadi, Tippanna Majagi, Ravi Naik, and other notable figures were present at the event.
